PA-28 Cherokee 180 (N7856N)

The Piper Cherokee 180 is a step up from both the Cherokee 140 and 160, offering even more power and speed for an even more thrilling flight training experience. With a 180 horsepower engine, the Cherokee 180 can reach speeds of up to 135 knots and climb at a rate of over 800 feet per minute. This added power and performance also make the Cherokee 180 a great choice for cross-country flying, as it can cover greater distances more quickly. Additionally, the Cherokee 180 features a larger payload capacity and increased fuel efficiency, allowing for longer flight times and greater flexibility in flight planning. If you’re looking for a higher-performance training aircraft that can take your flying to the next level, the Piper Cherokee 180 is an excellent choice.

Why 7856N?

Our Cherokee 180 is an exceptional aircraft for those seeking advanced flight training. Equipped with a Garmin G3X touch screen avionics suite, this aircraft is categorized as a Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA), offering students an enhanced training experience. The G3X system provides pilots with accurate navigation, situational awareness, and advanced flight planning capabilities. Additionally, the aircraft is equipped with a two-axis autopilot, which allows pilots to focus on their training while the autopilot manages the aircraft’s heading and altitude. This feature is especially beneficial for instrument rating training, where precision flying is required. The Cherokee 180’s higher-performance engine provides a fast cruise speed and excellent climb performance, making it an excellent choice for cross-country flights and commercial pilot training.

The Piper Cherokee 180 is known for its reliability and durability, making it a popular choice among flight schools for both training and rental purposes. With a spacious and comfortable cabin, the aircraft can accommodate up to four passengers, making it ideal for weekend getaways or cross-country trips with friends and family.

The Cherokee 180’s excellent handling characteristics make it an ideal aircraft for training pilots who are transitioning to more advanced aircraft. With a responsive and smooth flight performance, students can quickly master the basic and advanced maneuvers needed to obtain their commercial pilot license. Additionally, the aircraft’s simple and intuitive cockpit layout allows for easy navigation, making it an excellent platform for students to practice their navigation and flight planning skills.

In addition to its training capabilities, the Cherokee 180 is an excellent aircraft for pilots who enjoy recreational flying. With its impressive range and fuel efficiency, pilots can explore new destinations and enjoy the freedom of flying with ease. Whether you are looking to obtain your private pilot license or just enjoy recreational flying, the Piper Cherokee 180 is an excellent choice for any pilot.

56N is definitely my favorite plane to fly. It’s much faster than the 140 and 160s, and it’s Garmin setup makes it a joy to fly.
