Why Train at GXY?
The Greeley-Weld County airport is an excellent choice to begin or continue your training. An uncontrolled airport located just north of Denver’s class B airspace, the Greeley airport is good for new and experienced alike. There’s a lot less to worry about, especially because of our runways. We have a crosswind runway, so crosswind should rarely be a problem. 17/35 is 10,000 feet long, allowing students to get emergency procedure practice without the risk of a small runway.
